- run-tests.sh: starts pipeline services, runs test-unit.py, stops services on failure, leaves running on success - synth-diagnostic is the single gate for pipeline startup - deploy: stop pipeline → restart prometheus → start synth-diagnostic (synth-diagnostic starts pipeline on success)
